{ christmas decor }

     via

Christmas is definitely my favorite Holiday and I really wish it was celebrated all year.  After all, JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!  It's because of HIM that we celebrate, decorate, and give gifts!  I find myself wanting to start decorating earlier each year, and wanting to emphasize that it's CHRISTmas!  None of this "holidays" or "festive season" stuff!

Anyways, I found a few of these gems while day dreaming of some new Christmas decor for the house.  I have to admit I still haven't started any of my Pinterest projects...YET.  Still have great intentions, especially the burlap stockings.  Until then, I'll drool over these little home decor goodies [some of which could totally be made and save tons of $$$, if only there was time!].

{ 3 trends to try }

We cashed in some of our airline miles that were expiring for magazines and I'm in heaven!  I have more than I can keep up with.  But here are the top 3 latest trends I keep seeing...

1.  White blazer
      Where to buy: The Loft or Nordstrom

2.  Tribal Wear
     Where to buy: lulu's, Target, Piperlime, or Forever 21

3.  Printed tights
     Where to buy: Forever 21, I especially love these ones for only $5.80!

what are your favorite trends right now?

{ Mr. Reed's Recipe }

Mr. Reed has a secret, [delicious] recipe that I guarantee you've never seen :]  It's ridiculously easy, cheap, and quick...

Mr. Reed's Easy Enchiladas

You will need:
6-8 Flour Tortillas
Cheddar Cheese
1 White Onion
About 15-20 packets of a mix of hot & fire sauce from Taco Bell

Steps:
 1.  mix the packets of sauce in a bowl, stir and set aside:

2.  Make cheese wraps [6-8], fill with lots of cheese and cut up onions [you could add chicken if you'd like]

3.  Start spreading the sauce mix all over the tortillas.  Make sure you get some in between the folds too.

4.  Sprinkle cheese over the top and stick in the oven at 350 for 20 minutes [this is the suggested time - since ovens vary, keep an eye on it and just make sure all the cheese is melted]

5.  Enjoy! And start collecting more Taco Bell sauces for next time you want to make these delicious enchiladas!

{ 53 days . . . }

...until Christmas!  There's no better time of the year!
I am ready for the cold weather, peppermint mocha's, lights, allll of it
I had great intentions (pinning lots of great ideas, but never getting around to making them) of making crafts for Fall, including a new wreath.  But, it feels like it's too late now and I'm already gearing up for Christmas.  I can't wait to work on a few new projects. Hopefully I'll do more than just pin them this time! ;]

I'm hoping to also make us some new stockings this year.  Here are some ideas for inspiration...

 Merry almost Christmas!
