{ Mr. Reed's Recipe }

Mr. Reed has a secret, [delicious] recipe that I guarantee you've never seen :]  It's ridiculously easy, cheap, and quick...

Mr. Reed's Easy Enchiladas

You will need:
6-8 Flour Tortillas
Cheddar Cheese
1 White Onion
About 15-20 packets of a mix of hot & fire sauce from Taco Bell

Steps:
 1.  mix the packets of sauce in a bowl, stir and set aside:

2.  Make cheese wraps [6-8], fill with lots of cheese and cut up onions [you could add chicken if you'd like]

3.  Start spreading the sauce mix all over the tortillas.  Make sure you get some in between the folds too.

4.  Sprinkle cheese over the top and stick in the oven at 350 for 20 minutes [this is the suggested time - since ovens vary, keep an eye on it and just make sure all the cheese is melted]

5.  Enjoy! And start collecting more Taco Bell sauces for next time you want to make these delicious enchiladas!

{ vegas vacation in pics }

Here's our recent trip to Las Vegas in pics.

We had a fabulous time, starting out with just a girls' trip with my friend below, we stayed at a separate hotel than the guys then met up with them for the second half of the trip to celebrate my little bro-in-law's 21st bday & my husband and his friend Nate's 30th bdays.

I have a new way of packing for trips like this.  I try on outfits & take pics with my phone to see what I really want to pack & what outfits don't work well with my body type [& should be left behind.].

I highly recommend doing this to anyone going on a trip.  It helps pick out your outfits ahead of time {especially helpful if you're indecisive like me}, all the way down to what jewelry & shoes to wear.  This way you spend your valuable vacation time doing fun stuff & not worrying about what you're going to wear.
I will admit, it didn't help me narrow down HOW MUCH to take, but I was lucky enough to be on a flight [southwest] that allowed two 50 lb suitcases ;)

{I have to work on my over-packing habit}
Here are some of my outfit options I put together before our trip & referenced [just look at your phone pics] during the trip to reduce my "getting ready" time.

{ 30th }

Mr. Reed's birthday was a big success.  I think fun was had by all.  He woke up his Birthday morning to a yummy breakfast and the house decorated with Blazer colors (his favorite team).  He didn't take a lunch that day, but a Birthday fairy left him his favorite energy drink, a balloon, and his favorite candy on his car during work.  We celebrated with his family on Thursday night (his actual Birthday).

His boss gave him the day off on Friday and we went up to Portland and met up with a big group of friends & some family to watch the Blazer (basketball) game {they won!}.   Him & I stayed all weekend up in Portland and then actually went to the Blazer game on Sunday night to end our fun weekend.  Here's a few pics...

clearly struggled with writing a '3' on some of these :]
Birthday boy had the camera

I never like the self-timer photos...better than one arm outstretched trying to take the pic though

30 candles on his {requested} apple crisp dessert wasn't easy!

One of his favorite b-day gifts, a professional watch for a professional 30 year old

Another favorite gift, an awesome tool storage thingy
